Spinach Smoothie


Weekday mornings are usually a mad house here.

If you were able to see how my mornings go, you will see how much of a lunatic I really am…

Everything is fast paced. Wake up, brush teeth, put my hair up in a messy bun, wake up Ale, tell her to get ready, I rushed downstairs and make ” Breakfast”. You know the typical pancakes, eggs sunny side up, and freshly baked biscuits…

I had you  fooled for a moment there didn’t I.

Actually, I have exactly 15 minutes for “breakfast”. So I usually look for something quick, filling, healthy, and of course stress free.

My go to is this delicious Spinach Smoothie.  Don’t let the color turn you off. It has all the nutritional components your body needs to start the day and it taste OH SO YUMMY!!!

Rather than skipping breakfast (don’t skip breakfast) make this.

Your body will thank you.

Spinach Smoothie

Recipe type: Breakfast
Serves: 1
  • 1 cup of unsweetened Almond milk
  • ½ cup baby spinach
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ¼ cup frozen mango
  • 2 TBS ground flaxseeds
  • ¼ tsp Chia Seeds
  1. Place all ingredients in the blender (minus the chia seeds)
  2. Blend for exactly one minute (making sure all the ingredients are well incorporated).
  3. Pour in a large cup. Sprinkle chia seeds.
  4. Enjoy!
